Automate Business Mileage Tracking and Logging with TeleNav

Tuesday April 14, 2009
TeleNav GPSTax day is upon us, and if you wrestled with tracking and logging business mileage for yourself or for a group of employees this year, you know it can be boring, and a major time drain. TeleNav's Shotgun model car GPS, shown here, provides the best solution I've seen for automating mileage tracking and logging. When you begin your trip, simply touch the "start capture" button on the screen. From that point on, the Shotgun tracks your mileage, including start, end, date, time, addresses, and exact mileage. Hit "end" when you've finished your trip, and the Shotgun automatically sends the info to your account at my.telenav.com. This feature worked perfectly in my road tests, and it's a dream come true for frequent business travelers. It automatically keeps a detailed log that can be exported to .pdf or Excel. Read on for a full review. Image © TeleNav
