High-quality point-and-shoot cameras with GPS and geotagging capability are still surprisingly rare. Samsung will be one of the big-name firms correcting that shortcoming in September, with the introduction of its new CL65 model. The $399 CL65, shown here, has an on-board GPS chip, and automatically embeds photo EXIF files with latitude, longitude, city, state, and country. This makes it easy to organize photos by location, and adds location data to images uploaded to online photos sites, making them mappable. Beyond GPS, the CL65 is an advanced 12.2 megapixel camera, including WiFi, an HD video mode, and a spacious, 3.5-inch high-resolution touchscreen. Image © Samsung
