Contour Helmet Cam Captures HD Video and GPS Location Data

Sturdy, waterproof helmet cameras have given us a whole new view of action sports and other outdoor activities. Just do a search on "wingsuit" in YouTube to see what I mean. Contour, one of the better-known makers of these devices, just added a GPS-equipped model to its line, the $349 ContourGPS. This unit has a built-in GPS receiver that records location once per second and stores the data with the video file. Edit the video and your moving map together with Contour's included Storyteller application. ContourGPS stores video and data on a microSD card, up to 32 GB, which will hold more than 8 hours of HD content. It weighs just 5.2 ounces. Images © Contour
