New Magellan 5190T Warns Truckers About That Low Bridge

Magellan 5190T Trucker GPSYou've seen the dented bridges and the demolished trucks in the news, as the result of a driver not being aware of a low bridge. Magellan can prevent that for the mere $379 price tag of its new 5190T GPS for trucks, RVs, and other commercial vehicles. The 5190T has an extra-wide screen, at 5 inches, for better visibility on truck and RV windshields, which tend to be farther from the driver. It also has higher available volume settings to overcome cab noise. At the heart of the 5190T's functionality is a data layer of commercial vehicle customized routing, warnings, multi-stop route planning, and route optimization. Also, multiple drivers may log into the device to track hours and mileage. Throw in other perks, such as free product lifetime traffic alerts, and a hands-free Bluetooth phone linkup, and you've got a powerful device for the trucker or RV enthusiast. The 5190T will be available later this spring. Image Magellan
