Magellan Launches New Active Site For Sport GPS Uploads

GPS-maker Magellan introduced a pair of new sport watches earlier this year, the Switch and Switch Up for running, bicycling, and more. Today, Magellan unveiled a complementary website, Magellan Active, that lets Switch owners record, upload, and analyze workout data. "With Magellan Active, users can upload their performance data to their profile, search through their activities, and analyze both the entire activity or individual segments with maps and charts. The site also includes social features so users can easily post their activities to Facebook and Twitter, as well as profile pages that can be made private or public for sharing," states Magellan.
