Most athletes like to keep track of their personal records, and Garmin just made it a lot easier for users of the online Garmin Connect service to identify their fastest times. With the free Garmin Connect, users of Garmin sports GPS devices can automatically upload time, distance, elevation, and other data directly into an advanced online training log. New to the service is a "personal records" section in the dashboard that suggests PRs for running entries including 5 km, 10 km, half-marathon, and marathon distances, plus an entry for farthest distance. When you confirm a PR, the specific entry gets a medal icon that lets you further edit the data. Next, I'd like to see Garmin add a cycling PRs feature. Image © Garmin
