Garmin and Navigon Apps Add iCloud Sync, Glympse and Foursquare

Garmin has released a major update to its smartphone GPS turn-by-turn navigation apps (for iOS and Android operating systems) that include iCloud syncing, and Glympse and Foursquare integration. The iCloud syncing feature maintains your list of favorite destinations across multiple iOS devices. Glympse is an app that lets you share your location in real time with people you select. It's a great way to safely keep your friends and family or co-workers posted on your location and time of arrival (no need to text updates while driving, for example). Foursquare helps you find, rate, and share places you visit, and get personalized recommendations and deals. Navigation apps receiving the upgrade include Garmin StreetPilot Onboard apps, as well as all of the Navigon and Garmin Android OS apps. Image © Garmin
