A GPS or GPS accessory is a thoughtful gift because it's very practical yet personal, and is ikely to be used often. Below, you'll find a selection of gifts for her, ranging from $18 to $249. She'll think of you when she enjoys a workout with her new GPS sports watch, or slips her GPS into a sharp-looking pink carrying case.
Garmin Princess Icon (free)
Garmin's pink "Princess" car icon replaces the bland old stock navigation icon in a Garmin car GPS. Just follow my directions to install this fun and free graphic.
Magellan Car Kit for iPhone or iPod Touch ($120 - $130)
Apple iPhone navigation apps work well, but they should be used while the iPhone is placed in a windshield mount. A mount holds the iPhone where it can be seen, keeps the iPhone charged up (GPS apps are battery hogs), and supplements the iPhone's speaker. This mount by Magellan does all of the above, plus it has its own GPS chip to boost the iPhone's reception. Since it has its own GPS, this mount also lets the Apple iPod Touch work as a turn-by-turn navigation device.
TomTom ONE 130S ($100 - $140)
TomTom GPS devices have state-of-the-art navigation features, an excellent route preview feature, and in the case of the ONE 130S model shown here, a foldable, easy-to-stow EasyPort windshield mount. The ONE 130S model also includes the important text-to-speech feature at a budget price. She'll think of you every time she finds her way with this GPS.
