Hot New myTouch 3G Smartphone Launches with TeleNav GPS Navigator
Tuesday August 4, 2009
The newest smartphone running the Android operating system, the T-Mobile myTouch 3G (shown in photo), is to go on sale on August 5. TeleNav has announced that its GPS Navigator will be the first turn-by-turn navigator to be offered on the myTouch 3G, and that the service will be available at launch under a 30-day free trial ($9.99 per month after trial). I've reviewed TeleNav GPS Navigator on several different types of phones, and it is a very competent app. On the myTouch, Navigator includes 3D, moving maps, text-to-speech directions, speech recognition, and connected search. Top all of that off with traffic detection and avoidance and gas price search. Navigator presents a compelling package with the myTouch 3G, which is a nice-looking phone getting positive reviews.
