Garmin is describing its new Alpha 100 dog GPS ($799) as "a fully-integrated tracking and training system for hunters and their sporting dogs. The Alpha features robust GPS tracking with built-in topo maps from Garmin and proven electronic correction from Tri-Tronics." The Alpha 100 lets you track and train up to 20 dogs within a 9-mile radius, reporting their positions every 2.5 seconds. Track dogs on a color mapping screen, and send them commands by stimulation and tone. Special TT 10-model dog collars that work with the Alpha 100 sell for $299 each. The Alpha 100 will be available for sale later this month. Image © Garmin
